Novella's Legacy

Novella has a collection of precious gifts she wants to pass on to her six granddaughters. She has waited a long time to do so. But in an age dominated by electronic toys and games, she is now worried that the children might think her collection is too old-fashioned. However, when the children come to visit, she decides to give them her gift any way. They are delighted. But, although this collection exemplifies fun and innocence for many children and adults, it has meant something different for Novella. Her collection represents different aspects of her race’s history, her family’s history, and her own personal history. She has treasured this collection for many years. But now it is time to pass it on.
